I finally fixed it by holding the "OK" button and turning the camera on. The procedures should be similar for your L6. Please also comment if none of the fixes were successful, or if you tried something different that worked. Variations to Fix #7b include gently pulling, rotating, and/or twisting the lens barrel while hitting the power button.
