Add to Want to watch this again later? many people seem to solve the problem by simply giving the camera a good solid whack on a hard surface or blowing compressed air on it. I didn't have to do I replaced the batteries, but that didn't fix it. They only seem to work for about 50% of lens errors, but they're worth a try.
