Simply - VERY GENTLY - press down the lens on the side where the gap is the biggest. I figured I would post my experience in hopes of helping out the cause. My camera have no serial number as it was erased because the use (Kodak, next time, engrave serial numbers), so I was not able to determine if it still under warranty.
