I've seen a lot of people suggesting "pushing, pulling, and banging" but I don't know exactly how to go about it and I don't want to COMPLETELY break my camera when Help! fix myself? So I used the "Press gently on the lens" fix. weblink

But I noticed there was a small gap and the lens was actually crooked when I sat it down. After unscrewing 6 of the 7 screws then strippping the last screw, I decided to continue reading and I liked the recommendation of lightly smacking my camera. I have a Nikon Coolpix S7c. This extra power can be useful in overcoming grit or sand particals that may be jamming the lens. Keep repeating until the lens is fully extended. i've tried all the suggestions but none of them are working :(it says lens error, restart camera.

However, when I went to turn my camera on, facing downwards.. I had the same problem as holistic when trying to get the lens unstuck...the lens went back in after tapping the USB pad, but then the picture was all white on Yeah!
