I got it for Christmas. This along with Fix #1c and #2 sometimes work for lens errors that occur from batteries wearing down while the lens was extended. HiI tried all your tips and eventually had no option but to force the lens. we've had it looked at but the camera ppl said it will cost more to fix it than it would be to buy a new camera. There is obviously some potential for further damaging your camera with some of these fixes, especially with Fixes # 6 and 7.
