Kodak Camera Says Lens Error
i have a kodak easyshare c813, 8.2 mega pixels, 3x optical zoom if that helps at all HelloThe problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. Can't view anything other than the start-up screen. In any case I would suggest not buying a kodak again they make a pretty poor camera by comparison to other brand in the same price range. im afraid warranty wont cover this one. Source

we've had it looked at but the camera ppl said it will cost more to fix it than it would be to buy a new camera. Wow - i can't believe that worked. To access the lens, I had to remove the display. You can only upload a photo or a video. Camera Lens Won't Retract Then retracts, there's a partial shutter closure.
None of these methods involve opening the camera, although some have potential to cause other damage to the camera if excessively done. Camera Lens Stuck Anyhow, to fix this I removed the battery and held the power button in for about a minute. This is probably not a lens error, because other things are wrong other than the lens. I tried pulling the lens to keep if from going back in, but that did not work. Just got home yesterday and i tried tip #7 today. Everytime I try to turn it on now it makes a grinding noise and refuses to open and then closes completely with the lens error reading For no reason my camera
