turned it back on then keyboard failure, battery voltage, computer fan and floppy diskette failure message came up. In place of the "keyboard failure" error there is now a "front cable disconnected" error which you can bypass by hitting the F1 key. If I then hit F1 the boot-up continues successfully. Keyboard Failure Windows 10 That's clearly an error from the BIOS. Since the BIOS POST's until the point where it detects the keyboard, I'd suspect that there's a controller issue. The machine doesn't have a floppy disk drive.
